Yuga Labs, the entity behind Bored APE Yacht Club, has transferred the intellectual property of CryptoPunks to the Infinite Node Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to preserving digital art. The deal, valued at approximately $20 million, marks a strategic shift for one of NFTs’ most iconic collections.

The Infinite Node Foundation, co-founded by Ribbit Capital’s Micky Malka and Becky Kleiner, previously secured $25 million in April to advance its mission. This stewardship transition underscores the growing institutional recognition of NFTs as cultural artifacts requiring long-term preservation frameworks.
